Cooking and Baking program. The Alaska Culinary Academy
at AVTEC has a long-standing reputation for providing skilled, creative
cooks and bakers for the hospitality industry. The demand for trained,
qualified professionals far exceeds supply and the job prospects for
graduates are excellent. |

Each year, the Alaska Culinary Academy will host the Academy Cafe. The Academy Cafe is staffed entirely by the Professional Cooking and
Baking Students. From the menu, preparation and to serving your
meals, the students will gain the necessary experience for professional
employment.
This years Academy Cafe is open Tuesday through Friday from May 14
through June 13, 2008.
- Seating times at 6, 6:30, 7 and 7:30 p.m. The maximum table
seating is 6 people.
Please, no large groups.
- Reservations are required. Call 224-6107
- Cost is $15 per plate (cash or check only).
- Located in the Culinary Department at 518 3rd Avenue near the
AVTEC cafeteria.
